Tom F. Duren - Attorney at Law

Tom Duren is the owner of Mills County Abstract & Title Company and the law firm of Tom F. Duren, Attorney At Law, which share the same office in Goldthwaite, Texas. In addition, Tom maintains a private practice in real estate law in Brownwood, Texas. Tom was admitted to the bar in 1973 after receiving his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1972. Prior to that he received his B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in 1970. Tom is a member of the State Bar.Tom grew up in Goldthwaite and graduated from Goldthwaite High School. He is married to Melissa and they have one daughter, Katie, who is married to Eric.

Keri Roberts - Attorney at Law

Keri Roberts is an attorney for both Mills County Abstract & Title Company and Tom F. Duren, Attorney At Law. Keri was admitted to the bar in 2003 after receiving her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law that same year. Prior to that she received a B.S. from Texas A&M University in 1999. Keri is a member of the State Bar of Texas and currently serves as a panel member on their Grievance Committee for District 15-2. Keri is also a member of the Texas Land Title Association. Keri served on the Board of Directors for the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center for several years and presently serves on the Board of Trustees for Central Texas MHMR dba Center ForLife Resources. Keri grew up in Goldthwaite and graduated from Goldthwaite High School. She is married to Britton and they have three children, Kody, Britni and Brooke. Keri is a member of the Goldthwaite Church Of Christ and serves as a Bible class teacher for Cradle Roll and Pre K.

Jo Miller - Administrative Assistant

Jo is the Administrative Assistant for the Brownwood location and has been with the company since 2019. At that time Jo Miller has joined Mills County Abstract & Title Company and also worked as a legal secretary for Tom F. Duren, Attorneys-at-Law. Jo conducts multiple business functions by typing legal documents, title commitments, policies and miscellaneous other documents. She coordinates all phases of the real estate transactions from the initial orders to mailing out the final policies. Jo operates the Brownwood office from conducting office managing duties to recordings on files. Jo is a fantastic asset and a great member of the team.

Molly Hartgrove - Administrative Assistant

In the early 2000's Molly Hartgrove joined Mills County Abstract & Title Company and also worked as a legal secretary for Tom F. Duren, Attorney-at-Law. She coordinates all phases of the real estate transactions and performs duties as legal assiatant. Molly's years of experience makes her indispensable as Goldthwaite office manager.

Shanna Logan - Title Reseach / Abstractor / Policies

Shanna Logan began in 2019 when she became the abstractor/title researcher for Mills County Abstract & Title Company. Shanna has the responsibility of keeping the title plant up to date and accurate. Shanna is knowledgeable, dependable and skillful in her work. Shanna works with surveyors as well as customers in researching the title to the land, striving to make their transaction as smooth as possible. Shanna’s years of experience makes her an invaluable employee.
